NET Partnerships

National Environmental Trainers (NET) offers training accepted by the U.S. Occupational and Safety Health Administration (OSHA) and utilized by government agencies and private businesses large and small.

During the 2010 Gulf Oil Spill the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) needed immediate HAZWOPER training both in person and online, so they contacted us. NET trained over 1,000 FWS employees to respond to the Gulf Oil Spill. The FWS workers were responsible for surveying the Gulf Coast environs and retrieving badly soiled animals for cleaning. British Petroleum, the responsible party of the oil spill, paid the training costs.

These federal employees had to be quickly deployed due to the scope and magnitude of the largest oil spill in our nation’s history. FWS workers were quickly mobilized to the Gulf Coast thanks to the HAZWOPER Hands-on Simulator®. FWS later referred NET HAZWOPER online training to the U.S. Coast Guard.

This is how NET’s up-to-date, relevant, in-depth HAZWOPER training has earned the trust of major universities, corporations, and government agencies such as the Center for Disease Control, the Environmental Protection Agency and NASA.
